A city resident was beaten to death yesterday evening in a gang fight in the suburban Jiading District, police said.
The 43-year-old victim, surnamed Hang, was pronounced dead in the hospital. Hang's angry family members and other residents gathered around the hospital, which seriously affected the traffic from Meiling Road N. and Lanxi Road to Huaxi Road, police said.
