City to recruit 1,000 cops

SHANGHAI police will recruit more than 1,000 officers from Saturday to next Friday.
Those recruited will take grassroots policemen jobs as in patrolling, security and criminal investigation, East Radio reported today.
Shanghai resident candidates will be aged between 18 and 28 years old with education at college level or above.
Candidates from outside Shanghai must have postgraduate education.
