THE Shanghai government has reminded officials at all levels of the dangers of corruption that can go hand in hand with business associations.
The officials were yesterday ordered by the government to sever all connections with business associations and chambers of commerce by the end of next June. Government officials should no longer work as organizers of these associations. All associations should have their own accounting systems and offices.
