Clean-air Pavilion

The Broad Air Conditioning Co, a firm based in Changsha, Hunan Province, will build a pavilion at World Expo 2010 to promote energy-saving and clean-air ideas.

The company signed a contract with the Expo organizer yesterday to build a corporate pavilion. Zhang Yue, president of the company, said Expo visitors would get to experience a "healthier way of life" at its pavilion.

It is the 12th corporate pavilion contract to be signed. The Expo will have 16 corporate pavilions in the Puxi site.

The air conditioning company will also provide air conditioners and air purifiers to the main Expo buildings. It is the only Chinese private company to be a global partner of the Expo.
