A WASTE collector died after falling from a building yesterday while removing old water pipes. He fell from the fourth floor building at No. 142 in the Pengpu residential area about 1:30pm.
The victim, a 41-year-old man from Anhui Province, fell on to overhead cables, before falling to the ground and striking his head, witnesses said. His tricycle for waste collecting was close by.
