COMIC artists around the world are welcome to take part in the Aishu Cup International World Expo Comic Contest launched by the Shanghai Journalists Association, Shanghai Journalism Academy, Xinmin Evening News and Aishu Mattress Co Ltd. Participants can choose the theme "Excellent Expo" or create another. No limit is set to format and color but the work should not be smaller than A4 size.
First prize will be 10,000 yuan (US$1,464), with the result published in Xinmin Evening News. Entries should be sent to Shanghai Laobaoren Culture and Business Consulting Co Ltd at 839 Yan'an Road M. The contest runs until October 31.
