Community cooking competition attracts local and expat families

THE city's first community family cooking competition, titled "going back home for dinner" held a grand awards ceremony on Saturday.

A program of the ongoing Shanghai Citizens Art Festival, it attracted around 2,000 local and foreign families from all over the city to showcase their culinary skills on stage.

Twenty families were honored after final round of competition on Saturday. They also shared heartwarming stories about love, care and reunion behind the delicacies.
