Composed suspect on murder rap

A "COOL, calm and collected" murder suspect has been charged with killing her 86-year-old neighbor, who lived alone, and stealing her possessions.
An initial investigation found the suspect, surnamed Xu, 53, was unusually composed around the time of the killing in February, Putuo District prosecutors said.
After the murder, she returned to the Baiyu Road home of the victim, surnamed Yang, to search for a necklace the victim may have been wearing at the time she was killed, prosecutors said.
Officers said that the murder was "brutal" but declined to give further details.
Xu was caught a month after the killing and some stolen items have been recovered, city police said.
The case has astonished the public after it was reported that Xu did not flee the scene after allegedly killing Yang. When police arrived on February 25, Xu was seen among a crowd of onlookers, calmly eating an apple.
According to officers, Xu told police that she tricked Yang into opening the door.
