A HUGE part of a reinforced concrete structure fell onto a lower layer yesterday in the elevated road under construction near Luoshan Road, Pudong New Area.
The tumble created a 7-square-meter hole, construction authorities said, adding that no one was injured. A piece of wood used to support the upper structure broke about 8am, causing the collapse, an official with the Pudong Construction Quality Control Office said.
