Courier wanted money for son
A FATHER who said he delivered illegal drugs to earn some money for his son's wedding ceremony was caught by the police, who said he will face severe punishment.
The 57-year-old man surnamed Yang was found carrying 200 grams of heroin in his bags on the train going from Kunming, Yunnan Province, to Shanghai, police said yesterday. He told police he wanted to get some money for his son, who works in Songjiang District and is going to marry in the city. He was put into detention and was regretful for his behavior, police said. He is yet to go to court.
