Crayfish eatery in Songjiang District shut for using morphine

A crayfish restaurant in Songjiang District has been shut down for adding morphine, the district’s market watchdog said.

In early June, investigators detected morphine in crayfish sauce served by the restaurant.

Together with police, they closed the restaurant and detained its staff members, www.thepaper.cn reported Wednesday.

Morphine is major part of opium which will cause addiction.
