CANADA has appointed Mark Rowswell, popularly known as Dashan in China, as its commissioner general for Expo 2010.
Rowswell has a unique bond with his fans across China, Lawrence Cannon, Minister of Canadian Foreign Affairs, said yesterday.
Rowswell, a performer and TV host, said his first job would be to increase media coverage of the Canada Pavilion.
