Daughter of Taiwan's exam chief falls to death in Shanghai
The daughter of Taiwan's top examination official died after falling from a building this morning in Shanghai, local authorities said.
Wendy Kuan, 34, died after falling from a building in the city's Xuhui District, the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau said in a statement.
Kuan is the only daughter of Kuan John Chung, President of the Examination Yuan, or House of Examination, of Taiwan.
The woman had been living in Shanghai prior to her death, according to the statement.
Police and the Taiwan affairs office of Shanghai are investigating the cause of the death.
