SOME residents in Baoshan District are accusing nearby factories of polluting the water as thousands of dead fish were found in a brook yesterday morning.
Residents of Zhangshu Village in Luodian Town blamed the factories along Shenfu Brook for the dead fish.
The Baoshan environment protection authorities said they have taken water samples for testing and that factories in the area will be checked.
