A man has been sentenced to two years in prison and was fined 2,000 yuan (US$293) for illegally stealing a total of 7,080 liters of diesel worth 35,600 yuan, court officials said yesterday.
Zhang Yunqiang, a migrant man from Jiangsu Province, had been stealing diesel from container trucks since February 2009, with 40 other gang members.
