Disciplinary violation probe into ex-official

FORMER deputy director of the Pudong Rural Development Bureau Zhu Rongchang is under investigation due to suspected disciplinary violations, Xinmin.cn reported yesterday.
Zhu has also been removed from several other posts.
The 62-year-old is no longer a vice director of Chuansha County, vice governor of Fengxian County, board chairman and general manager of Shanghai Pudong Modern Agriculture Development Co Ltd, vice director of Pudong Economy and Commerce Development Bureau and vice director of the agriculture commission under the Pudong Economic Commission, according to the Website.
He was elected director and member of the council of the second session of the Pudong Agriculture Association on December 12, 2007. He is the legal representative of the Pudong Agriculture Association, the report said.
The non-profit association was set up in September 2002.
