Docusinan, public screening and activities venue for documentary fans, opens on Fuxing Road

SHANGHAI Media Group's Documentary Channel, a national satellite channel, is collaborating with Sinan Mansions to offer a public screening and exchange area for local documentary enthusiasts.
The venue located on 505 Fuxing Rd. M. is entitled Docusinan. Officials said that each month one or two screenings of excellent documentary productions will be held. Audiences also have chance to talk with directors about shooting and attend relevant artistic exhibitions there.
"Tibet: the Way of Nature," a 4k documentary on cultural geography is an opening series at the venue. It took veterans from Documentary Channel around 2 years to produce the 4-episode series.
On April 21, "A Great Meal," a co-production of China and South Korea will be screened. The documentary tells how people from different countries and cultural backgrounds present tasty dishes with their wisdom and creativity.DocusinanDocusinanDocusinan
