Dress warmly for cooler nights
A COAT may come in handy as a larger difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures is expected this week, according to the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau. Days will mainly be clear with a high of 24 to 25 degrees Celsius, while the low will be around 18.
Air quality improved yesterday to fair after two consecutive days of light pollution. Stronger winds brought down the city's fine particle density from 189 micrograms per cubic meter on Saturday to 19 micrograms yesterday, the Shanghai Environmental Monitoring Center said. More days of pollution are expected since autumn and winter are not favorable times for pollutant dissipation, officials said.
