Driver bangs into parked cars, bikes following tiff with a woman

A driver, reportedly drunk, caused havoc inside a local residential complex in Minhang District in the wee hours yesterday, damaging two cars and more than 20 scooters and bikes, after a dispute with one of the residents there, Shanghai Television reported.
An elderly woman was hurt during the fracas.
The driver, whose name was not revealed, had a tiff with a woman who lived there. Local residents hinted that it had to do with the matters of the heart, and got into an argument with her.
Witnesses said he drove to the complex in the evening, looking drunk, and banged on the door and the window of the flat where the woman lived.
He then got back into his car and rammed into two other vehicles parked there, and drove over 20 scooters. The woman’s mother, who came out to meet him, fractured her leg as the driver went crazy.
She was sent to hospital. Police arrived at the scene 20 minutes later and are investigating.
