Driver kills father when backing his car

A young man accidentally rolled over his father when he was backing his car this morning in the city's Yangpu District, unaware that his father was standing behind.
The tragedy occurred in a residential complex on Sanmen Road at about 9:20am when the driver in his 20s felt his car stopped moving backward.
He got out of the car to check and was shocked to find his father lying on the ground. He immediately sent his father to the Changhai Hospital, but his father died an hour later.
The son, whose name was not revealed, said he didn't notice anyone behind the car in the rear-view mirror.
Police are still investigation the case.
