THE 5,000-square-meter Netherlands Pavilion in Zone C is themed "Happy Street." It's near the pavilions of Luxembourg and the UK.
National Pavilion Day is today.
The Prince of Orange and Princess Maxima will attend the official celebration and visit a few pavilions. The Dutch National Dance Theater will perform at Shanghai Grand Theater tomorrow night.
The Netherlands Pavilion resembles the figure eight, a lucky number suggesting fortune in Chinese. The up-and-down pavilion consists of 26 small houses along a curving pedestrian walkway.
