A man surnamed Xie turned himself in yesterday after he stabbed his girlfriend in Baoshan District, police said.
The woman, not identified, was still in critical condition last night after getting stabbed in the neck. The incident occurred about 2pm in a restaurant on Yingao Road W. Witnesses said the woman wanted to break up with Xie.
