Estimated 8 million tourists from overseas for Shanghai this year

The Shanghai Center and Shanghai Disney Resort are featured in Shanghai's display at the 2015 China International Travel Mart kicking off in Kunming, Yunnan Province, today.

Shanghai has over 500 square meters of exhibition area with 36 stands from local scenic spots and travel agencies, the Shanghai Tourism Administration said.

Shanghai expected it would have attracted some 8 million overseas tourists to the city by end of this year.

This year's travel mart would last from today to Sunday and it has attracted participants from 105 countries and regions globally. There are more than 3,000 stands in total.
