A SHANGHAI man has won back his Volvo from his ex-girlfriend in a lawsuit in Jiading District People's Court. The man surnamed Zhao said he let his girlfriend, surnamed Liu, use his iPhone, laptop and a Volvo worth 260,000 yuan (US$41,292) during their relationship that began in July 2011. The pair broke up in January and Liu refused to return the belongings unless paid 30,000 yuan. Liu said Zhao had given her these things as gifts. Zhao withdrew his demand for the iPhone and laptop, but the court ordered Liu to return the car.
