MA Da, former editor-in-chief of the Wenhui Daily of the Wenhui-Xinmin United Press Group, died on Tuesday in Shanghai at the age of 86. The funeral will be held at 2pm on Saturday at the Longhua Funeral Parlor. Ma, who participated in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in 1941, worked for local newspapers since 1952. Ma was well known for cultivating journalists.
