Exhibition shows relation between science and art
THE 2012 Shanghai International Science and Art Exhibition will open in downtown Shanghai on Thursday, featuring creations that connect science and art and stimulate industrialization of new inventions.
About 600 creations from nine countries and regions will be shown in the Shanghai Exhibition Center on Nanjing Road W. through Sunday, said the show organizer, Shanghai Association for Science and Technology.
The exhibition is free and tickets can be obtained at the entrance.
Meanwhile, the Shanghai Science Week will start this Saturday at the same venue. Innovations such as a 3-D television for naked eyes and useful inventions developed by students and ordinary citizens will be on display.
