Exhibitors get a head start with booth building
THE construction of booths at the China International Import Expo has already started, and will be completed by the end of October.
Some exhibitors, keen to get a head start, began to unload their material at the beginning of the week, with the support of the public security department.
From today, all exhibitors will be able to enter the exhibition area to set up their booths.
There will be more than 1,800 booths in the seven exhibition areas of the import expo, said Peng Chunyan who is in charge of exhibition work.
Companies will begin to arrange and decorate their exhibits from November.
“We lay the greatest emphasis on safety and environment protection,” Peng added.
Specialized security personnel will be assigned to each booth.
“Meanwhile, we will vigorously promote the green booths using environmentally friendly materials which can be recycled,” Peng said.
