Experience life like a blind person
THE 2010 World Expo will include an exhibition area that will allow people to better understand what it is like to be disabled.
The Urban Pavilion will include an area named "Life and Sunshine" and give visitors a chance to experience being blind, among other things.
"The area is expected to show the world the present living conditions of disabled people in China, and to raise concern for them," said Cao Ziping, general secretary of the organizing committee of "Life and Sunshine."
The exhibit will be the first of its kind in World Expo history, the Shanghai Disabled Persons' Federation said yesterday. It will include two experience halls, a stage for performances and an exhibition hall.
