Expo show to bring back fond memories
AN exhibition about the Shanghai World Expo will be held around May next year in the former Urban -Footprint Pavilion in Puxi, with many exhibits from various pavilions on display, a senior official of the Expo organizer said yesterday.
"More than 1,000 exhibits have been collected from more than 200 pavilions for the exhibition, which will definitely remind visitors of the 184-day Expo," said Yu Li, who will be in charge of the exhibition.
Ticket prices and the length of the exhibition, which will be held in one of the five former Expo Theme Pavilions, have yet to be announced by the show's organizers.
Exhibits include the "Miguelin," the Spain Pavilion's 6.5-meter animated baby, the China Pavilion's "Along the Riverside During the Qingming Festival," and "The Yezi," a vehicle that can be driven using wind and solar energy.
