THE World Expo 2010 organizer yesterday began soliciting opinions from across the world for the future development of the Baosteel Stage, a major Expo stage in Pudong along the Huangpu River.
The 11,200-square-meter stage was renovated from a former steel factory for the Expo. About 1,000 performances from China's provinces, regions and municipalities were featured at the stage during the Expo from May to October 2010. The general idea is to turn the stage into a venue for fashion and cultural events.
