Extra Line 2 trains to prepare for possible backlog of passengers stranded at city鈥檚 Pudong airport

Two more Metro Line 2 trains will be added tonight if there is a backlog of passengers stranded at Pudong International Airport due to flight delays.
The additional trains will depart from Pudong International Airport Station at 10:20pm and 10:40pm and go directly to Longyang Road Station, the city's traffic authority said.
"Additional trains will be added whenever the air traffic authority issues the highest alert for flight delays and cancellations," said a city traffic commission official.
Extra taxis and airport buses will also be dispatched to Hongqiao and Pudong airports, the official added.
