Eyes Out For Dangerous Cargo

STARTING today, Shanghai maritime authorities will put transportation controls on cargo ships with dangerous goods on board, a precaution as the World Expo approaches.
The controls will last till November 30.
Under Level-III, the lowest level, cargo ships carrying hazardous goods or chemicals will be allowed to pass the controlled 7 kilometers along the banks of the Expo site from 4am to 8am. Under Level-I and Level-II, the area will be off-limits.
