A FOREIGNER was taken for questioning yesterday after allegedly trying to use a fake passport in a bank in Putuo District, city police said.
Police said a 33-year-old man was apprehended, but gave no other information. Two foreign men came to check accounts, and bank staff were suspicious of some transactions. When staff attempted to contact police, the men are said to have run off. One was apprehended by security guards.
