SIX people have been arrested in suburban Jiading District for selling “fake viagra,” police said yesterday, adding they had seized about 2,000 pills from the gang.
The fakes were found in Huangdu, Fangtai, Waigang and Loutang areas during a recent broad-sweep inspection of adult toy shops.
Police said the manufacturers printed on the packages didn’t exist, nor were the medicines approved by the national food and drug regulator.
