Fallen glass cut off pedestrian's nose
A 21-year-old nurse lost her nose this morning when a broken piece of window glass fell from a residential high-rise in downtown Shanghai and chopped off her nose.
Police are investigating the accident to find the household in the building at the intersection of Daduhe Road and Zhichuan Road, which is responsible for the damaged window and the woman's injury.
The nurse was on her way to work when the glass suddenly cut off her nose. She was rushed to her own hospital and received eight stitches to sew on her nose. Doctors say she is not in critical condition.
