A man who pretended to be a cop and "fined" a Japanese expat for getting sex services in a hair salon was sentenced to a year in prison, the Changning District People's Court said yesterday. Li Kun, 31, pretended to be a plainclothes cop and threatened the expat, making him pay 10,000 yuan (US$1,567) as a fine or he said he'd take him to a police station.
