Family traced

AN 85-year-old woman with Alzheimer's disease, who was found loitering at the Shanghai Railway Station, returned home with the help of local police. The woman, Gong Aimei, was wandering with a bag at the southeast exit of the station around 11pm last Wednesday when railway police officer Yan Chunlei noticed her. Yan found more than 10,000 yuan cash on her and three bank deposit books with 250,000 yuan in it. The police traced a relative called Chen and Gong was later sent back home. Chen said Gong was his aunt, who was suffering from Alzheimer's disease for the last two years. She said recently that she wanted to leave home but no one actually believed that she would leave.
