Feeling happy in Fiji

THE island country of Fiji in the South Pacific Ocean hosted a variety of activities to celebrate the "Fiji Happiness Day" in Daning area in Jing'an District over the weekend.

Dancers from Fiji staged musical performances, and Fiji's artists displayed handmade art shows at the event. Visitors experienced the landscape and culture of the country via virtual reality technologies to experience the happiness secret of the country.

Today (March 20) marks the “International Day of Happiness” adopted by the United Nations General Assembly resolution, and the day is celebrated worldwide since 2013. Fiji is known as one of the countries with the strongest sense of happiness.

The "Fiji Happiness Day" event is hosted by Tourism Fiji.

"Fiji is a happy country with breathtaking beautiful natural scenery and friendly people, and it implements a visa-free policy for Chinese passport holders," said Ioane Naivalurua, the Fiji Ambassador in China, who attended the event.
