For the online visitor, digital passport stamps

HERE'S an answer for those who'd love to collect Expo pavilion stamps, but haven't the time nor the money to get to the Expo in Shanghai: Virtual visiting.

Netizens can log onto www.expo.cn, enter the pavilions they are interested in and then click a button for a stamp. One mark from the virtual pavilion will be saved on a virtual passport.

The virtual stamps are close in appearance to those offered by pavilions at the real-life Expo. The online version also allows visitors to share their stamps and stories at a forum on the site.

Visitors can log on the virtual tour any time and look around Expo and its pavilions in different angles with virtual tour guide Haibao.

The site may continue be open after the 184-day event ends.
