A FORMER district head in Shanghai is being investigated for corruption, the local discipline watchdog of the Communist Party of China said yesterday.
Cai Zhiqiang is suspected of taking a "huge amount" of bribes when he was chief of Putuo District and director of the human resources department under the Personnel Bureau of Shanghai, said the CPC Shanghai Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection.
