Foul play suspected in death
SHANGHAI police said yesterday they are following up some clues after a man was killed on Tuesday evening in the Pudong New Area.
The unidentified victim was found dead by tourists on a terrace on Riverside Avenue, near Lujiazui Road W., at about 7:49pm, a witness surnamed Ling said.
Officers said no identification documents had been found on the victim, but a knife wound below the man's left ear was believed to have been fatal.
"We've got some clues and we'll try our best to solve the case," an officer surnamed Tang said yesterday.
A special team has been assembled to solve the case, according to Tang.
