Fudan University launched an international center for the study of Shanghai history this morning.
The center will provide a database and bridge Chinese and overseas historians to exchange their studies in a more convenient way.
Meanwhile it will publish periodicals or organize educational lectures on the latest studies of modern Shanghai history.
