Fudan makes Haibao robot

A robot of the World Expo mascot Haibao, developed by Fudan University, made its debut in Shanghai yesterday.
Visitors will be able to meet the multi-functional machine, capable of taking snapshots and greeting guests in both Chinese and English, in the Shanghai Pavilion during the Expo period.
The 1.8-meter-tall robot can change expression and hundreds of national costumes of various countries, by way of light-emitting diodes that cover its body.
