Fuel-theft gangs nabbed by police

SONGJIANG District police said yesterday that they busted two gangs and caught 14 suspects for stealing diesel fuel.
Police said one of the gangs was responsible for 11 diesel fuel theft cases worth about 10,000 yuan (US$1,465) in the past three months. Three officers were attacked by the suspects of both gangs who tried to escape. The officers' injuries were not serious.
