Gang nabbed after car thefts
POLICE have caught a gang suspected of stealing goods from more than 100 cars within four months yesterday - with some cars taking just three seconds to unlock, a local newspaper reported today.
One man would break a car's lock while the others took valuables, Qingpu District police told Labor Daily.
One suspect surnamed Hu allegedly told police they stole more than 10,000 yuan (US$1,460), a laptop and a mobile in one theft.
