A FAMILY of three was killed in a gas poisoning accident in Shanghai's Putuo District this morning.
The victims included a couple around the age of 40 and their child, Xinmin.cn reported, citing a neighbor of the family.
All three were found dead in their apartment on Xincun Road about 9am today.
The man's colleague visited the family as he was absent from work. Police were called when no one answered the door.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation, the report said.
