Hardware shop fire kills family of three

A HARDWARE shop owner, his wife and four-year-old daughter were killed in a fire that engulfed the shop in Jiading District early this morning.
The fire started about midnight in the shop on Yulu Road of Malu Town and firefighters had extinguished it half an hour later, police said.
The shop's owner surnamed Yao, his wife surnamed Cai and their daughter, 4, were killed.
All goods were destroyed in the 75-square-meter shop.
Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
