A FORMER residence of Zhou Enlai, the first Premier of the People's Republic of China, has been recognized by the government after a year's expert authentication. Located on Sichuan Road N., the address at No. 44 in Yong'an Neighborhood has been confirmed as the home of Zhou from 1928 to 1931. Hongkou District designated it a protected building on Thursday, the 111th anniversary of Zhou's birth.
