A MIDDLE-AGED woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident about 7:30pm yesterday in Yangpu District. Witnesses said a black car hit the woman's bicycle from behind on Guohe Road and left the scene.
The impact sent the woman at least 3 meters away and she died instantly, witnesses said. The police were still investigating the case last night.
