Holiday zone for mouth of Yangtze

A HOLIDAY zone, complete with golf course, is being planned for the mouth of the Yangtze River, planners said yesterday.
Construction would finish before the end of next year and it would be about four times the size of Century Park, the Pudong Urban Planning Administration Bureau said.
The leisure zone would be on the coastal area next to the mouth of the Yangtze River, to the north of Shanghai Pudong International Airport, and will occupy 4 million square meters.
The area will include business and entertainment facilities, villa complexes, green areas and public transportation hubs.
The north part will include a beach and restaurants. The middle will be a holiday resort with hotels, fitness centers and a golf course.
The south section will focus on business services and Pudong folk culture.
